Advancing Forwards Through the Foe

Recently a Finnish Jäger squad was dispatched to the the plains of Eastern Europe. Among them was a fresh volunteer, Pillz, a Bulgarian seeking revenge against the Ruskies and recently enlisted. Amid the fighting we first encountered across rolling hills an opposition force entrenched, the hostile German defectors to the Red Army held their ground while we and an expedition force of Frenchmen also dug in, eventually after their failed assault the Jägers victoriously finished off the rest of them, and shot them down as the traitors were in a foolish and full retreat down the hill. Following this victory we received our new German equipment and held the line this time against an enemy force equipped with French equipment, facing on the same hill, this time after a long and bitter conflict with us guarding the right flank and watching the slaughter from a slight distance, as Colonel I ordered us to concentrate fire on the bushes where heads had been spotted popping up through binocular reconnaissance, at this moment heads began to roll, Joulu, Pills, Ahonen and Settfire all getting fine shots upon the enemy, supported by the acting medic Lolman saving many lives when we received a few pot-shots in response.

After this heavy fighting urban warfare ensued across 3 villages with some bitter fighting, worst being the waiting while pinned down. After witnessing a Colonel of our allies we held our ground in a village under heavy fire, again many Jägers including the Commander saved after sustaining heavy injuries by the work of Lolman. Eventually this group of Jägers however, running low on ammo was forced to charge and took many casualties, largely at the hands of a Commie Welshman well-known as a Red bastard who goes by the name of Hywel. Although the Jäger Settfire successfully snook up on him and neutralised the Welsh bastard after he severely wounded and incapacitated the Colonel. The final stage of the conflict involved an inconclusive and bitter charge by both sides upon a remaining village, both sides sustained heavy casualties, almost every soldier being killed or wounded. Here, many Jägers were sacrificed and many pressed the advance, notably are Settfire's brilliant storming tactics hurling in grenades, with around 3 or 4 confirmed kills, and the unfortunate Jäger Joulu who sacrificed himself to one of the grenades to ensure it exploded with the foe in range. The battle has been a bloody one, but a fine one. Especially with a few fresh recruits among us who proved themselves well this day.

However, Lolman in disgrace has also been noted for his poor communication skills, not even being able to spell the name of the people of the Fatherland, the "Finish" or the simple word - "mussed".
